Increasingly, we have a sense of crisis after an endless stream of gas explosion. We gradually realize that once gas diffuses in a confined space of gas, even one tiny bit of spark can start a prairie fire.
Various kinds of spark happened, however, what we are talking today is there are two types of spark that is generated by extension cord,which includes “The spark of the socket and “sparked switch”.
“The spark of the socket” is the very familiar one when you plug the appliances into the socket, which often gives you a sense of insecurity; and if you use an extension cord with a switch, every time you switch it on/off, the spark you see is the “switch spark”.
“Switch spark” is the concealed and chronic damage to extension cord, which would be accumulated with a thick layer of carbon generated in its surface after long-term using, and it is at a risk of short circuit by carbonization while this is never realized by the users who use it during their daily life.
We innovate the existing circuit design for relay (part of the switch that is used in the smart power strip), of which the spark can be minimized. And at the same time, it can not only extend an extension cord’s life, but also user can free from risks and worries.
From the figure you can clearly see, the same relay for 3,000 times the switch, our relay surface is still bright as new, but the control group of the relay surface has been serious carbon deposition.
